The next generation BG SW has been engineered for anglers who demand uncompromising strength, durability and reliability when targeting powerful saltwater species. Built around DAIWA's Powerdrive Design philosophy, the BG SW combines a rigid full aluminium body with Oversized Power Digigear for exceptional winding power, smooth operation and long-term durability under heavy loads.
Featuring a high-rigidity Powerdrive Rotor, Crank Power Bail, ATD Tough drag, LC-ABS SW spool design and enhanced waterproof sealing, the BG SW delivers confident performance in the harshest saltwater environments. Available in sizes from 5000 to 20000, the BG SW is equally at home casting from the shore or tackling offshore adventures, giving anglers the confidence to take on their next big fish.
The next generation of large spinning reels have been designed in pursuit of powerful reliability, enabling anglers to target the largest fish around the world. POWERDRIVE DESIGN consists of two technology units: the body unit "POWERDRIVE ENGINE" and the rotor unit "POWERDRIVE ROTOR".
