The new Sephia XTune inherits the design philosophy of the Sephia Limited. By combining Shimano's unique basic structure Spiral X Core with high-elasticity materials, it has evolved into a blank that is "slender, lightweight, and highly responsive."

Its casting is incredibly sharp. Its jerking power is far greater than what its slim appearance would suggest. Particularly noteworthy is the front grip, which symbolises functional beauty. By adopting a new shape cork grip with boldly sliced sides, it enhances the fit to the palm of the hand, supporting a stable grip and delicate operation.

The Sephia XTune inherits the legacy of the Sephia Limited. With its lightweight yet strong basic structure Spiral X Core and high-elasticity materials, it has evolved into a slimmer blank, second only to the Sephia Limited. Sharp casting and jerking. Slim yet powerful. The front grip features a cork grip with sliced sides. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and contributes to stable grip performance. Equipped with a full range of features such as X Guide and Carbon Monocoque Grip, the Sephia XTune is Shimano's answer dedicated to uncompromising eging specialists.

Technology



The M40X delivers an unparalleled level of rebound.

All models utilise high-strength, high-elasticity carbon Torayca® M40X. Despite its slender design, the blank instantly recovers in response to jigging input. This gives the jig a sharp initial velocity and results in a casting feel that cuts through the wind.

The "non-circular cross-section" concept, praised in the Limited series, is embodied in the XTune's unique approach. The flat, sliced sides suppress grip rotation even during aggressive jerking, directly transmitting input to the rod. Furthermore, the XTune's grip length is designed to accommodate all grip styles. Rather than shortening it for weight reduction, the emphasis is on a balance that naturally fits anglers worldwide, regardless of hand size or grip style. This allows you to conserve grip strength and maintain concentration even during long fishing sessions.
