In 2026, we will be adding three new models to the AJ series, creating a lineup that can handle a wider variety of patterns and changing conditions.
"AJ - Aggressive Jerk" is a series characterized by outstanding response and able to perform dynamic lure control with high sensitivity that allows anglers to detect changes in the current and water pressure.
"NS - Natural Swim" is a series that specializes in high controllability of jigs when the boat is drifting naturally (line on a diagonal angle), allowing the jig to move naturally even in shallow waters or when the current is slow.

The NS (natural swim) type

A series especially designed to naturally maneuver the jig by eliminating any unnecessary flicking and jumping of the jig. The versatile multi purpose models are able to induce bites in selective situations, various sea conditions and areas.
The SEB (sensitive bait) type

These are highly responsive bait models able to easily maneuver jigs simply or technically with various jerking methods. Anglers will be able to easily vary the tempo and speed of jerks capitalizing on the advantages of the bait tackle set up.

This model allows you to take advantage of the rod's repulsion and high action response without exerting unnecessary force. This is especially helpful in areas with fast flowing currents. AJ (Aggressive Jerk) SELFISH AJ 604
The AJ (Aggressive Jerk) series, as its name suggests, excels at aggressive, fast actions. It's designed to easily produce sharp sliding actions and allow you to intentionally create pauses to entice bites, making it ideal for experiencing the excitement and thrill of high-pitch jigging—the "lure up and strike" moment.
In terms of rod action, it's the stiffest in the SELFISH series, and its stiffness extends all the way to the tip, resulting in the highest rod response in the series. This allows you to firmly impart action to heavy jigs even in deep areas or places with strong currents.
Furthermore, it possesses the quick, high-speed action characteristic of stiff rods, and the ability to easily create line slack to launch jigs horizontally. This series offers a completely different approach from rods with softer tips and a more natural action, allowing you to efficiently search for bites.
■ The AJ 604 is a model with highly refined operability, suitable for areas with strong currents and high tidal pressure, situations where high appeal is effective, and deep jigging up to about 150m, offering high versatility for targeting large fish in both inshore and offshore waters.
