The GAME TYPE EJ is a specialised rod designed to bring the true appeal of electric jigging closer to anglers, allowing them to enjoy it more easily. The powerful and high-speed lures of electric jigging are effective for catching migratory fish such as bluefish and tuna. It also has the ability to handle slow to mid-speed jerking, making it useful in a variety of situations. The rod features a blank performance that emphasizes a balance between "durability," which reduces the burden on the angler caused by the powerful reeling power of an electric reel, and "resilience," which allows the angler to accurately bounce the jig. Equipped with SPIRAL X CORE for high strength in all directions, including bending, twisting, and crushing. The long front grip allows anglers to support the rod with both hands, the spiral guide design thoroughly pursues zero trouble due to line entanglement, and a special rod belt prevents the cable from swaying. The combination of the compact original reel seat and semi-trigger EVA, which emphasizes ease of grip and freedom of grip when a voluminous electric reel is set, supports more precise electric jigging.

Spiral X Core
A next-generation basic structure that has evolved by using high-strength materials. Using Shimano's unique design and manufacturing methods, we thoroughly pursue further increased strength in all directions, including bending, screwing, and crushing. Shimano's original basic structure Spiral X, which enhances rod performance from the core, uses carbon tape made of high-strength resin realized by nanoalloy® technology. We have achieved even higher strength with selected materials. Compared to general structures, it achieves 1.4 times the screw strength and 2.5 times the crushing strength (compared to our company). Furthermore, compared to Spiral X, we achieved a 10% increase in screw strength and a 15% increase in crushing strength (compared to our company).

High Power X
Reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting that occurs during casting and fighting. The feature is that the carbon tape is tightened in an X shape from the outermost layer of Spiral This allows the rod to bend in the angler's intended direction, allowing the blank to perform to its full potential.
Ci4+
Ci4+ is a further evolution of Shimano's unique material C14, which is reinforced by carbon fiber. Compared to conventional resins, it is lighter and has higher strength.
