The lighter model out of the 30th Anniversary Raging Bull series and engineered for precision topwater work, this 9'10" length delivers responsive control with a soft tip paired to a powerful butt section that enables anglers to control large fish away from structure. The PE5–8 suits anglers seeking power without the heaviness or "dullness" in the blank of a PE8 rod creating a rod that can be used comfortably all day whilst having the power and casting capabilities to chase kingfish, tuna or other pelagics.

The 9'10" length reduces fatigue when casting for long periods, while the rod makes it easy to swim small ~ medium sized lures with the PE5 tip. For anglers seeking the most powerful model, there is a RB911PSX model.
