The Talo diving popper is the perfect weapon to draw attention from large predators. Instead of displacing water above, diving poppers push air down into the water just beneath the surface, creating a long dense bubble trail and a tight wobbling swimming action with a light pop and soft sweep of the rod. The tail weighted design allows for huge casts and it’s very easy to use even in chop or wind. This popper is crafted from solid Paulownia encapsulated in a hard resin shell, with 2mm stainless steel through wire and multiple layers of tough protective coating for the ultimate durability.
Swim Action
With a light pop and a long, gentle sweep of the rod, the Talo dives beneath the surface, creating a dense bubble trail and a tight, wobbling swim action. Pause and wait for it to pop back up, then sweep again in rhythm to keep this popper moving effectively.
Rigging Options
Due to its buoyancy up front the Talo will work perfectly with any heavy hook combination, including large double trebles at the recommended size.
