Focused on the flight distance and resistance in the water, the head dip is an effective stickbait for various conditions. The Ocea Head Dip 140F has been designed with a focus on bluefin tuna and kingfish featuring a stable casting distance which is ideal for boat shore casting and boat casting. 

The Head Dip is easy to swim and holds the water well with a strong presence made when swimming the lure as it breaks the surface of the water during the initial dive and post dive when the lure rises aggressively to the surface. 

The OCEA HEAD DIP 175FAR-C was designed with a focus on bluefin tuna, and while it has the same stable casting distance and strong water displacement as the previous model, it has been redesigned from scratch to be used as a small bait pattern for tuna and as a standard size for kingfish.

The AR-C system has been tuned to provide greater distance with underhand shots.

To help you land more fish in this challenging environment, the Head Dip 140 features a modified single-line AR-C centre of gravity shifting system, replacing the conventional two-stroke DUAL AR-C system. This design change allows for powerful and precise underhand casting, giving anglers the confidential to reach better distances.

Hook have been tuned according to the target fish species.

By default a #2/0 treble hook is rigged for standard sized kingfish and tuna but when targeting larger kingfish and tuna in autumn and in situations where waters are rough and the lure pops out, it is recommended to use a thicker shaft class hook such as the BKK Raptor Z to allow the stickbait to sit lower in the water column.
