Last year, Yamaga Blanks Members introduced "innovation and challenge" and drastically revamped their lineup of original rods. The three new models were cutting-edge and innovative models that made the most of the strengths of Yamaga Blanks' own factory and thoroughly pursued rod performance. In
2025, Yamaga Blanks Members will release new models with the theme of "The Pursuit of Enjoyment" that pursue the pure enjoyment of fishing and the fun of swinging a rod.
The new models are "41 BETA" and "46/B BETA" from the Blue Current series, Yamaga Blanks' representative series. These are challenging short rods of 4ft in the history of Yamaga Blanks, but their basic performance as fishing rods is very high, and they were thoroughly particular about everything from the tone of the blank to the details, and after more than three years from planning, two unique and playful models were completed.
There are strengths that can be achieved only because of the 4ft length, but there are also times when you feel inconvenienced by this short length. Even so, fishing with these two models reminds me of the pure fun I had when I first started fishing, the direct feel of operation, the sensitivity, and the thrill of catching a fish. By fishing with the 41 BETA and 46/B BETA repeatedly, while enjoying both their strengths and weaknesses, you can help yourself grow as an angler and experience greater enjoyment along with the satisfaction you will gain in the process.
Yamaga Blanks Members will continue to develop more cutting-edge and innovative models, while meeting the diverse needs of anglers all over Japan and delivering rods that exceed expectations. Please stay tuned for future developments.

Despite its short length, the rod's fighting performance is finished with a tone that is tenacious, typical of Yamaga Blanks. Although it is a super short rod, it makes the most of the characteristics of a spinning model, achieving a high level of long-distance casting performance for small lures and a light response for easy operation of lures.
Of course, this model is not for everyone, and there are limitations due to its super short length. However
