Buy two Maria hardbody lures*
From IFL in-store, or online with in-store pick-up.

Grab your entry pack
Collect your official measure mat and uniquely numbered entry card in-store. Packs are not shipped.

Catch and snap
Catch it on a Maria lure, then take a photo of the kingfish on the mat with that lure and your entry card, all in one wide photo.

Post and submit
Post from a public Instagram account, tag us, then paste the post link into the catch form.

Protect your spot: take the photo somewhere that gives the fewest clues about your ledge, and don't mention the location in your post.

Rules
Eligibility and competition area
- Open to a maximum of 150 registered entrants.
- Land based only. Anglers can fish anywhere in NSW.
- NSW islands (Lord Howe and Norfolk) are excluded from the competition zone.
- Entrants must use the official measure mat and their unique entry card.
- A public Instagram account is required so we can verify the entry.
Scoring and tie-breaks
- Kingfish must be caught on a Maria lure to be eligible.
- Any size kingfish can be entered. Undersize fish must be released after the photo.
- A valid quest catch adds a flat 10cm to that fish's score.
- Your highest-scoring valid fish (length plus any quest bonus) is your leaderboard entry.
- If two anglers have the same score, the earlier catch ranks higher. If both were caught on the same day, the earlier submission ranks higher.
- All anglers must comply with current NSW recreational fishing regulations.
- Iso Fishing Lifestyle may deny and ban entrants for edited or misleading measurements, or any entry that breaches the rules.

- Make sure your profile is public. Instagram doesn't let us see posts from private accounts, even when you tag us.
- Copy the post link and submit it through the official catch form.
FAQ
Can I buy the lures online?
Yes, as long as you choose in-store pick-up. Measure mats and entry cards are only handed out in-store and are not shipped.
Can I fish anywhere in NSW?
Anywhere in NSW, land based, except Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands.
Why does my Instagram need to be public?
Instagram doesn't let us see posts from private accounts, even when you tag us. If your account is private we can't verify the catch, so switch it to public before you post.
How does the quest bonus work?
Each quest names a Maria lure and a two-week window. Catch a valid kingfish on that lure during the window and 10cm is added to that fish's score.
Can prizes be shipped?
No. Prizes are collected in-store on awards night only.
