MONSTER ZONE 210F

The key to making these big fish, who have lived long and become smarter, take them seriously is the "non-diving" feature. The deepest they can dive is only about 10cm deep.

Because it doesn't dive, the lure rises to the surface of the water faster.
When a fish notices the lure, it quickly escapes and disappears.
The fish that chase it get serious and eat the lure.

Hook Setting

It is designed to use a large single hook so that you can reliably catch large fish. The optimal hook weight is 10-11g, but it can also be used with lighter hooks such as Yamada Hook SUPER SHORT #4/0.

We recommend triple hooks of #4/0 to #5/0, around 9-11g.
If the lure has high buoyancy and the action is too violent, using an oval split ring may calm it down.

The hook I used when I caught the 16.4kg Yellowtail from the shore was a Sutekibari Plugging Double SPT503 #4/0.

I am still trying to find the best hook setting for catching monster tuna, but because it has high buoyancy, I can use a fairly large hook. I am testing it with a plate of lead attached because I cannot get the balance right with a single hook.
