Tested off the coast of Sotobo, Chiba Prefecture Japan. CB One developed the D3 Jig in response to the capture of amberjack near the 15-30m shallow bottom of Katsuura to Ohara, requiring high mobility with a jig that would mimic a minnow lure when casted and jerked in horizontal and diagonal directions.
The input and gravity balance of the CB One D3 Jig are precisely tuned for horizontal movement, allowing for greater maneuverability and acceleration than standard vertical jigs. It features a responsive rise that responds well with a light wrist-action return, and a following turning performance that enables swift combinations such as a short pitch, one pitch, twitch, and stop sequences. By manipulating the jig with quick rod work, the D3's performance is optimised.
Level drive
Horizontal track
A short darting action that wobbles even just by winding and cuts the current when twitched. An attractive action on both the action and fall and can be worked at high speeds with various combinations to entice bites.
Delta Balance
Body design with excellent horizontal holding.
It maintains a horizontal posture and minimises fall speed between actions for enhanced lateral mobility. It excels at responding to the varying speed changes of rod work, improving initial response and turning performance. It works effectively in fast currents as well as shore jigging.
