Set to monster the offshore fishing scene the 26 DEMON BLOOD is a diverse rod series tailor made for Australia’s broad and varied fishing styles and species. Continuing its classic red and black colourway the latest series adds a touch grey to deliver the DEMON BLOOD a new look that is set to turn heads.

The DEMON BLOOD’s roll call of robust Daiwa technologies and features sit front and centre in the 26 DEMON BLOOD, with HVF NANOPLUS, 3DX and X45 creating a rod blank that is light and sensitive, yet pulls no punches when it comes to strength, power, and robustness. The latter being essential for Australia’s unrelenting offshore fishing environment.

Blank performance and strength is further enhanced with the 2-piece models in the range featuring Daiwa’s V-JOINT technology. V-JOINT features a bias wrap construction within the ferrule to eliminate weakness and flat spots in the joint.  The result is a two-piece rod that’s as strong and acts just like a one-piece.

Maximum angler comfort and control is optimised with a FULL GRIP design providing the ability to take full control of the rod, whether it being during the cast or when loaded up in the heat of battle.

With nearly 20 models in the range and a diverse range of tapers designed for a variety of species, techniques, and styles of fishing the 26 DEMON BLOOD is the rod series made for monstering Australia’s offshore giants.

HVF NANOPLUS

Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.

 

3DX
supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting densely packed carbon fibers in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power through the blank under load is distributed evenly in all directions allowing it to maintain its profile and form. This process confines the rod’s power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.

X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.

V-JOINT

Bias construction within the ferrule allows it to flex with the rod, eliminating the weak, unbending spot caused by ordinary ferrules. The result of this revolutionary technology is a multi-piece blank that matches the performance of one-piece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness.
