In 2016, MC Works released a special PROGRESSION JIGGING MODEL to celebrate their 20th anniversary, while also continuing to introduce new designs for REAL FUSION-DUAL EDGE jigging rods.
There are three models, 611PS, 622PS and 613PS, all of which have a delicate tip and powerful butt power. A jigging rod with a large difference in strength between the tip and the butt. The risk of breakage under heavy load was higher than that of general parabolic action rods, and its design was difficult but there were no cases of damage after release and they were able to gain a certain level of confidence in the design of jig rods with different strengths.
The Double Trap model builds on the innovative PROGRESSION design, incorporating enhancements for optimal performance. It features carefully selected materials and a unique taper design that evenly distributes the load, preventing strain on the mid section.
The Double Trap utilises highly balanced manufacturing techniques to confidently exhibit the current standard of rod technology as of 2019 for MC Works. It is a versatile jigging rod that can easily be used by anglers in various situations, from shallow to deep waters and from small to heavy jigs, with a wide range of drag values available.
DT613PS/B is a medium heavy model out of the series that is ideal for light jigging for dermersals, kingfish and small tuna. This model will be choice for anglers seeking a rod with a powerful, yet sensitive blank to fish in deeper waters or fishing shallow areas that requires stopping power.
