MC works need no introduction and are known world wide for their excellence in custom rod building. All exclusively hand made and built in limited numbers, the MC Works rod range are one of the most sought rods out in the world for professional shore casting anglers. 

DESCRIPTION

This high-spec model is based on the RB104XF-2 blank and features full titanium RVSG guides.

The RVSG guide system offers exceptional casting distance and maneuverability, providing a significant advantage.

The XF-1's characteristics are further expanded in this plugging special with a soft tip and hard butt. It is a heavy rod with a unique personality that is unlike any other heavy shore game rod. It solves the traditionally difficult problem of pulling out large fish with small plugs and dead action. To achieve this, it was necessary to seamlessly combine the tip and butt, which have different strengths, and after extensive testing and trials on rocky shores and remote islands, the appropriate bend curve ratio was determined.

As a result, despite the fast taper design which tends to have reverse leverage, it has been successfully put together into a rod that is easy to fight and has excellent target control. The inclusion of titanium guides was essential to pursue operability on the #1 side.
