In order to pursue the ultimate performance of the Eging Rod series flagship model "Super Calamaretti", the hardening process, which plays an important role in the manufacturing process, is processed using the autoclave method. Regarded in Japan as the best eging rod on the market that money can buy, reaching the pinnacle in technology that isn't found in any other rod.
Through joint development with Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd., the know-how of the autoclave manufacturing method, which requires an expertise that is primarily used for performance racing cars, has been used to improve the rod section by section. Compared to the conventional manufacturing method, it is possible to design a rod with less resin and consequentially more carbon. This makes it possible to realise a higher quality, higher purity, and greater strength, and therefore, blanks with extreme performance have been realised. Technology
Quattro graphite cloth:
By interweaving carbon fibers that are arranged in a 45° direction, the uniformity and directionality of the lamination density are increased compared to the braided fabric and the thickness is increased. This makes the rod resistant to bending, twisting, and compression and offers even better quality blank. As a result, the blanks bend back (shape restoring force) quickly, so energy loss is minimized and it is possible to achieve a crisp feeling, smooth cast, excellent casting distance and accuracy.
Super quattro graphite cloth
"Super Quattro Graphite Cloth" has a structure in which the fibres are wound with a precise fine pitch with the fibres in each direction are made highly elastic resulting in significantly improved performance.
G Maps
In general, fishing rod blanks are made by arranging carbon fibres at 0° (vertical) and 90° (horizontally) to the longitudinal direction and laminating carbon sheets (prepreg) according to the required power increased.
The G-MAPS manufacturing blanks can be said to be lightweight but powerful high-tech blanks with performance that could not be achieved with conventional general manufacturing methods. Combining this with 4-axis fabric or multi-axis fabric makes it possible to create the ultimate blanks.

All models use lightweight titanium frame Torzite ring K guides. It reduces the weight of the rod and improves sensitivity.
The reel seat uses a hump-shaped hood on the lightweight and slim VSS reel seat.
The joint uses a high-precision spigot ferrule (inro joint) to achieve a smooth bending curve.
