For large spinning reels such as the Saltiga, the setting is designed to suppress the decrease in drag force during a fight. In both cases, the system was developed with the goal of allowing you to concentrate on the fight without having to worry about the drag setting.

CRBB

These ball bearings feature a surface modification treatment that significantly enhances rust resistance. They offer superior rotational performance and strong corrosion resistance, helping to maintain the reel's initial performance for longer periods, even in saltwater environments.

LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)

While retaining the ABSⅡ's philosophy of reducing contact resistance, this spool achieves smoother line release by moving the contact points forward. The forward position of the ring makes it less likely for the line to get caught on the ring, resulting in approximately 5% longer casting distance and improved trouble-free operation compared to the conventional ABSⅡ. This is truly the next generation of ABS spool that realizes LC (=LONG CAST).
