Truth Japan Black Dimension 95H
Truth Japan Black Dimension 95H
9ft 5inch, compatible with PE5-6.
Ideal for fishing Kingfish, Amberjack and Yellowfin tuna from the rocky shore.
Sharp and light!
A blank that can be used with plugs, jigs, and more.
Starting with Prototype No. 1, the rod performed exactly as expected, and we're still actively fishing with it.
(We've been using it both inshore and offshore to check various aspects, such as guide settings, blank behavior, strength, and operability.
Offshore fishing has resulted in countless catches of yellowtail and amberjack.)
While the rod was labeled "HH" during development, it will be released as "Heavy."
(Compared to the previously released "106MR," which is an HHH class, we decided that "H" was appropriate.)
Compared to the previously released "106MR," this rod is not only more powerful but also lighter. To put its action in
simple terms, the "106MR"
is designed to be tenacious and torque-oriented like a "four-wheel drive." Its
tenacity and power are evident as it bends, making it ideal for anglers looking to catch larger fish than they can imagine. The "95H" is designed to be nimble and highly responsive like a "sports car."
Its length makes it extremely nimble and easy to handle, allowing you to cast and control it for extended periods without feeling fatigued.
It's capable of repeated casting on rough reefs all day long, and its sharp 9'5" blank minimizes wind resistance and delivers lures even in headwinds.
The 9ft 5in length allows for a variety of lures and actions, from poppers to diving pencils and twitching minnows.
The sharp blank action allows for diving pencils, which tend to be difficult to penetrate, to be handled with a slight adjustment of line slack.
The blank action and grip balance also make it suitable for jigs, and this length and action allow for nimble operation.
For example, I use the "106MR" before sunrise, when the chances of encountering large fish are high, or when the tide is running and the jigging tide is approaching. After sunrise, when the birds are few and the atmosphere is murky but it's unclear when they'll appear, I continue probing with the "95H." It's
primarily aimed at yellowtail up to 6kg, and is useful on rocky shores with gentle rock formations, deep rocky shores, long, rugged shorelines where multiple rods are not required, and even on reefs where you have to run around.

Features
Front grip specifications
The slimmer shape minimizes interference with the grip when releasing the line when winding the leader onto the spool or using a spacer for casting (we believe this affects casting distance). The
slimmer shape also fits comfortably in Japanese hands, making it easier to apply force and providing excellent holding power.
Because it's an H Class rod, it doesn't require much length, resulting in a sleek and simple design.
If you don't mind line interference, have large hands, or prefer a thicker grip, consider using a tennis grip (wet type).
Guide specifications, painting specifications, etc.
This rod features a stainless steel and titanium frame combination for strength, flexibility, agility, and sharpness, designed for target fishing targets with PE6 guide specifications.
The top section features T-MNST12 / T-KWSG12 x 3 / T-KWSG16 / PMNSG20 / PMNSG25 / PMNSG40 stainless steel guides (PMNSG) with underwrapped edges for strength and flexibility. The tip section, equipped with titanium guides (T-KWSG), is directly attached to the blank for agility, sharpness, and ease of casting.
The guide configurations are STELLA14000 / SALTIGA14000. I've used this rod for several years in the Genkai Sea, Satsuma South, and Hachijojima, trying various line systems and using different users, both shore and offshore, and for a variety of fish species.
While this page only shows results from shore fishing, we've also caught numerous yellowtail and other fish offshore, achieving excellent line release and casting distance. The guide attachment strength is also excellent, and we've continued using it to this day without any repairs. Please use it with confidence.
Regarding the Paint:
To prevent interference with the blank when releasing the line, two sections from the front grip have been painted.
The tip section, like the guide-wrapped version, is unsanded (unpainted) for sharpness and agility.
Joint Type:
This is a reverse butt joint for lightweight and flexible flex (this is our company's opinion only).
Please check for looseness regularly (every 30 minutes).
Because it is a long rod, centrifugal force can easily cause loosening, so we recommend using ferrule wax.
Usage Precautions:
This rod is made of high-elasticity carbon for superior strength. While it can handle lure casting beyond its specifications to some extent, casting with a sudden increase in swing speed may result in insufficient transfer of load to the butt section, concentrating excessive force on the tip section and joint, potentially leading to breakage.
Especially when using lures that exceed the weight specifications or lures with high air resistance, please understand the rod's characteristics and strive to cast comfortably according to the conditions. Because of its high performance, it can be prone to damage if used improperly. To maximize the rod's performance, please handle it carefully.
