The Yamaga Blanks Blue Sniper Shore Casting Series is a premium handmade, Japanese shore casting rod range designed for targeting powerful pelagic species such as kingfish and tuna from the rocks.

Built for long-distance casting, precise lure control and excellent fighting power, the Blue Sniper range covers everything from lighter shore casting through to heavier applications. With seven models available, the series can accommodate minnows, sinking pencils, stickbaits, and jigs.

Selected Nano Concept models utilise Nanoalloy® technology to create a responsive yet flexible blank that loads smoothly during casting while maintaining stability and power under heavy pressure.

Yamaga Blanks Blue Sniper 97MMH

The Yamaga Blanks Blue Sniper 97MMH is a versatile shore casting rod designed to balance lure control, casting performance and power.

Featuring a responsive M-class tip matched with a powerful MH-class lower section, the 97MMH provides a lighter and more agile feel than the 100MH. The flexible tip makes it easy to work a wide variety of metal jigs, stickbaits and diving pencils, while the powerful lower section provides the strength needed to control larger pelagic species.

Ideally suited to targeting kingfish and other pelagics in the 3–5kg class, the 97MMH also has the reserve power to confidently handle larger fish when required.

Its combination of a responsive tip and strong backbone makes the Blue Sniper 97MMH an excellent all-round shore casting rod for anglers who want the versatility to switch between jigs and plugs without sacrificing lure control or fighting performance.
